The Fall Resistance potion reduces fall damage taken, providing a passive safety layer that is essential for navigating Zone 3's high-altitude environments and any area with significant vertical hazards. Unlike the Levitation potion which slows descent, Fall Resistance operates on impact, meaning it functions as a damage absorber when landing rather than a mid-air corrective. Together these two potions address both phases of dangerous falling situations.

Fall Resistance is brewed at a basic Alchemy Station using one Magic Liquid and three ingredients carrying the toughness or impact resistance alchemy effect tag. Dense, fibrous plant materials and mineral-adjacent reagents are common carriers of this tag. Because fall damage is an ever-present risk across multiple zones, keeping a modest supply of Fall Resistance potions is a sensible baseline for any build.

Fall Resistance is the recommended companion to Levitation, covering the damage case where Levitation's slow descent is insufficient or was not active in time. For Zone 3 exploration, the standard aerial safety kit is Jump Booster for ascent, Levitation for controlled descent, and Fall Resistance as a backup for unplanned drops. Pairing all three with Windborn and a Hang Glider creates a comprehensive toolkit for Everwind's most vertical content.
