Potion
Lockpicking
StatBuff
The Lockpicking potion increases lockpick success rate by 10% for 180 seconds, improving the odds of successfully picking locked containers and doors throughout Everwind's dungeons and settlements. Three minutes of enhanced luck with locks pairs well with the Lockpick item itself, allowing more attempts per session before losing picks to failures. This potion opens up loot that would otherwise require brute-force methods or simply be skipped.
Lockpicking is brewed at a basic Alchemy Station using one Magic Liquid and three ingredients sharing the dexterity or precision alchemy effect tag. Fine-motor-associated herbs and nimble creature byproducts tend to carry this effect, and they appear in varied biomes depending on what fauna and flora the zone supports. Since lockpick success already has a baseline probability, even 10% more makes a tangible difference across many attempts.
The Lockpicking potion is most valuable when combined with Loot Luck, which increases loot quality by 10%. Together they push both the chance of opening a lock and the quality of what is found inside, creating an ideal combo for treasure hunters and looters. In dungeons with dense locked-door sections, activate both potions at the entrance so their overlapping 180-second windows cover the entire run. Keep the Lockpick item consistently restocked so the potion's benefit is never wasted on empty hands.
