Parry Master

Parry Master is a Tier 1 Warrior skill that fundamentally improves the parry mechanic for melee combatants in Everwind. It extends the parry window timing and reduces the stamina cost of successful parries, allowing players to deflect incoming attacks more reliably. At higher ranks, Parry Master can reduce the cooldown between parries and even grant brief counterattack opportunities when a parry succeeds.

Parry Master forms the defensive core of the Warrior tree and synergizes powerfully with Defense Stance, which further reduces damage taken while blocking, and Agile Parrying, which allows parrying while in motion. Together, these three skills define the classic tank build in Everwind. The combination rewards skilled, reactive players who prefer controlled combat over raw aggression.

Players who invest in Parry Master early will find melee encounters significantly more forgiving, especially against faster enemies that punish unblocked hits. It is best paired with shields or heavy melee weapons from the Stone and Scrap Steamer Metal tiers before upgrading to Copper and Bronze weapons unlocked by Advanced Weapons. Any player building toward a front-line fighter role should treat Parry Master as a cornerstone investment.
