Spell Book
Spellbook of Clearance
Removes negative status effects from the caster and nearby allies
The Spellbook of Clearance is a support-oriented Arcanist weapon that removes all negative status effects from the caster and nearby allies simultaneously. Unlike the Purification potion, which only affects the individual user, Clearance operates as a localized AoE cleanse that benefits the entire party in proximity. This makes it uniquely valuable in cooperative play and in encounters that stack multiple debuffs on the group at once.
Wielding the Spellbook of Clearance requires the Advanced Books skill, placing it within the mid-tier Arcanist progression rather than beginner spell tools. The book does not degrade over time, meaning it never loses durability regardless of how frequently it is used, a property shared by all spellbooks in Everwind. Advancing to the Master Books skill can unlock enhanced versions of spellbook effects or broaden the selection of books that can be effectively used.
The Spellbook of Clearance is at its most powerful in content that applies persistent debuffs to the group, where a single cast clears conditions that would otherwise require each player to consume individual Purification potions. Pair it with the Rune of the Arcanist on the chestplate to extend staff charge capacity, ensuring the Clearance effect can be deployed more frequently during long encounters. In solo play, it functions as a more convenient alternative to Purification potions when poison, burns, or multiple status effects stack simultaneously.
