The Smithing Station is the core metalworking facility in Everwind, responsible for forging weapons and armor from Stone tier all the way up through Iron tier. It transforms raw ingots produced by the Furnace into combat-ready equipment, making it one of the most critical stations for players seeking to improve their offensive and defensive capabilities. No serious adventurer progresses into mid-game content without establishing a well-stocked Smithing Station at their base.
Recipes at the Smithing Station span multiple material tiers: Stone weapons and armor provide an early step up from Wood gear, while Copper, Bronze, and Iron equipment offer progressively greater combat effectiveness. All of these recipes require their respective ingots, which must first be smelted in the Furnace from raw ores gathered during mining expeditions. The Smithing Station works in tandem with the Upgrade Station, since gear crafted here can later be enhanced up to level 10 to push performance even further into endgame viability.
To get the most out of the Smithing Station, always maintain a surplus of ingots by keeping your Furnace running continuously during play sessions. Prioritize upgrading from Stone to Iron gear as quickly as your ore supply allows, since the jump in combat stats is substantial. Once you have solid Iron equipment, consider socketing Runes via the Rune Crafting Station to add specialized enchantment effects that complement your chosen playstyle.
