The Skeleton Nomad is a wandering undead found drifting through the Swamp and Cemetery biome, unattached to the organized patrols and garrisons of the main skeleton army. Unlike the rank-and-file warriors who guard specific ruins or tombs, the Nomad roams seemingly at random, as though the necromantic binding that holds it together has partially frayed. Their appearance varies, with some wearing remnants of traveler gear while others are entirely stripped of anything identifiable.

Skeleton Nomads have variable stats that reflect their inconsistent nature: some encounters will be trivial while others may surprise players with unexpected durability or aggression. This unpredictability is part of what makes them interesting and occasionally dangerous. They do not follow the same patrol routes as organized skeletons, meaning they can appear in unexpected locations and potentially flank players already engaged with other enemies.

Lore-wise, Nomads are theorized to be skeletons whose soul-bindings have degraded beyond the Skeleton King's direct control, leaving them in a state of aimless undeath. They may drop the same general bone materials as other skeleton types, but their wandering nature means stumbling upon them can also lead players to otherwise overlooked areas of the biome. Treat every Nomad encounter as an unpredictable wildcard.
