Potion
Light
Utility
The Light potion causes the player to emit light for 120 seconds, providing a hands-free, equipment-free illumination source that covers the player's immediate surroundings. Two minutes of continuous light is enough to navigate most dungeon wings or cave systems without needing to manage torches or lighting items. The potion is entirely passive once consumed, freeing both hands and all equipment slots for weapons and tools.
Light is crafted at a basic Alchemy Station using one Magic Liquid and three ingredients tagged with the luminescence or light alchemy effect. Bioluminescent fungi and glow-plant variants are the primary sources, most commonly found deep in cave biomes or near dungeon entrances where low light conditions are expected. The ingredient gathering itself benefits from bringing an initial torch or the Light potion from a previous batch.
The Light potion replaces the Wooden Torch for underground exploration, offering a significant quality-of-life upgrade since it eliminates hand slot competition between a light source and a weapon. For gathering runs in dark caves, combine Light with Diligence and Harvest potions to maximize both visibility and yield simultaneously. In dungeon runs where enemies are the focus, pair Light with Stone Skin and Greater Healing Potion so your defensive toolkit is complete without any slot dedicated to manual torches.
