Swiftness

The Swiftness potion provides an exceptional 40% movement speed increase for a generous 300 seconds, the longest duration of any movement-enhancing brew in Everwind. Five full minutes of enhanced speed fundamentally changes how the player navigates the world, from faster resource runs to easier kiting of dangerous enemies. The boost is large enough to open up entirely new tactics, including outrunning enemies that would otherwise be threatening.

Swiftness is brewed at a basic Alchemy Station using one Magic Liquid and three ingredients tagged with the swiftness alchemy effect. Light-footed or wind-associated plants commonly carry this tag, and they can usually be found in open plains or elevated terrain where fast movement is thematically resonant. The long duration means each bottle provides exceptional value relative to its ingredient cost.

Swiftness is arguably one of the most versatile utility potions in the game, benefiting every playstyle from exploration to combat to resource gathering. Pair it with Diligence for gathering runs where both speed and tool effectiveness are valuable, covering ground faster while harvesting more at each node. For players who also use the Windborn potion and a Hang Glider, Swiftness on the ground and Windborn in the air create seamless fast travel across any biome.
