Shadowcloak

Shadowcloak is a Tier 5 Warrior skill that provides an entry mechanism into stealth, allowing the player to cloak and become invisible to enemies for a set duration. Activating Shadowcloak reduces movement sound and visual presence, letting players reposition, escape combat, or set up ambushes without being detected. Higher ranks increase the cloak duration and reduce the stamina cost of maintaining stealth.

Shadowcloak is the gateway to Everwind's rogue-style play and is designed to work in concert with Backstab and Stealth, both available at the same Tier 5 gate. The Shadowcloak-Backstab-Stealth trio enables a high-burst assassination approach where the player opens from invisibility with a devastating backstab. For ranged players, Shadowcloak pairs with Master Bows and Focus to set up devastating ambush shots before enemies can react.

Players who want to engage enemies on their own terms rather than in open combat should invest in Shadowcloak as their Tier 5 priority. It is most effective in zones with scattered enemy patrols where stealth entry avoids triggering group aggro. Shadowcloak's value increases significantly when paired with Ambush at Tier 6, which provides additional bonus damage on attacks made immediately after breaking stealth.
