Marrow Fangs
Dagger
Marrow Fangs are a Bone-tier dagger in Everwind, crafted from the bones of skeleton enemies at the Smithing Station. Their organic construction gives them a sinister aesthetic and a distinct stat profile compared to metal-tier daggers. Bone as a crafting material is obtained from creature loot drops, meaning Marrow Fangs require active combat farming rather than simple resource gathering, adding a layer of effort to acquiring them.
Requiring the Advanced Weapons skill to equip, Marrow Fangs sit in the same skill bracket as Copper and Bronze weapons but offer a different damage and handling feel due to the Bone tier's unique material properties. They carry rune slots allowing customization with options like Poison or Life Steal, both of which synergize strongly with the dagger's high attack frequency. Upgrades at the Upgrade Station can further sharpen their edge up to +10.
Marrow Fangs are thematically and practically suited to dark dungeon encounters and skeleton-heavy biomes where their bone origins feel natural. Players who fight their way through high-density undead areas will accumulate the bone materials needed while simultaneously testing the weapon's effectiveness against those very enemy types. As the final entry in the dagger progression chain, Marrow Fangs complete a playstyle built around speed, critical hits, and material mastery.
