Archer Skeleton
Skeleton
The Archer Skeleton is one of the most common undead enemies encountered in the Swamp and Cemetery biome of Zone 2. These reanimated archers haunt the crumbling ruins and half-submerged tombstones that dot the fetid landscape, loosing arrows from a distance before players can close the gap. Their hollow eye sockets glow with a dim necromantic light, and their bones clatter softly as they draw their ancient bows.
With 40 HP, the Archer Skeleton is among the weakest members of the undead garrison, making it a manageable threat for players who have cleared the Starting Meadows. Their primary danger lies in keeping range: they will back away from melee attackers and fire in sustained volleys, making open ground dangerous. Closing distance quickly or using a shield to absorb arrows before engaging in melee is the recommended approach.
Archer Skeletons are often found patrolling alongside Skeleton Warriors, forming a classic ranged-plus-melee combo that can overwhelm unprepared adventurers. Defeating them yields bone-related materials useful in early crafting. Clearing archer positions first before engaging melee skeletons is a reliable tactic throughout the Swamp Cemetery biome.
