Enemy
Nightflit
Wildlife
The Nightflit is a small, fast-flying creature found in several biomes of Everwind, recognizable by its erratic darting movement and the faint whooshing sound of its wings. Wary by nature, the Nightflit will attempt to flee from players who approach too suddenly, though it will turn and fight if cornered or struck first. Its wings shimmer faintly in low light, giving it an almost ghostly appearance at dusk.
Despite its small size, the Nightflit is not entirely harmless: it deals 5 damage per hit and carries 25 HP. As a wary creature, its primary combat behavior is evasion, zipping away and repositioning frequently when threatened. This mobility makes it harder to hit than its low stats suggest, and players using slow weapons may find it frustrating to finish off. It rewards 15 EXP on defeat.
The Nightflit drops Nightflit's Wing upon death, a lightweight crafting material used in several early-game recipes. Passive in its default state, the Nightflit is often spotted near wetland edges and forest clearings. Players who need its wing drops will need to either sneak up carefully or accept that it will take flight before the fight is over, requiring some persistence to farm.
