They carry the dark, heavy character of the Swamp and Cemetery biome trees from which they originate, resulting in a dense plank with a distinctive deep brown-to-black coloration. Bogwood Planks are a mid-tier construction material that adds visual weight and atmosphere to any structure built with them.

Converting logs to planks in large batches rather than one at a time makes better use of crafting station time. Plan your harvesting runs to the Swamp biome with enough carrying capacity to bring back a meaningful quantity of logs each trip, reducing the total number of journeys needed to build up a useful plank reserve.
