Cloth

ProcessedMaterial

Cloth is a processed textile material made from Thread or Fiber at the Processing Station. It is the primary soft material for clothing and cloth-tier armor in Everwind, representing the fully processed form of the raw plant fibers gathered throughout the game world. Cloth has a clean woven appearance and is one of the earliest armor-category materials players can produce.

Cloth is used to craft cloth-tier armor and clothing items, providing the player with their first real protective gear options in the early game. Beyond armor, Cloth appears in crafting recipes for bags, pouches, furniture, and other items that require woven fabric components. Its role as both an armor material and a general utility textile makes it one of the most broadly useful processed materials in the early-to-mid game.

Producing Cloth efficiently requires a good supply of Fiber from regular herb and plant harvesting, which should become part of every exploration routine. Process Fiber into Thread and then into Cloth at the Processing Station in batches to maximize efficiency. Building a Cloth reserve early gives players flexibility to craft armor and other fabric items whenever needed without waiting for a fresh Fiber harvest. As one of the earliest craftable armor materials, Cloth production is a foundational skill that every Everwind survivor should establish quickly.
