Glass
ProcessedMaterial
Glass is a processed material made from Sand or Rock materials at the Furnace or Processing Station. The resulting transparent material is produced by applying heat to silica-rich raw materials, creating a clear, brittle substance that has both practical and decorative uses in Everwind's crafting and construction systems. Sand deposits found near beaches and desert areas are the primary raw material source for Glass production.
Glass is used in crafting recipes for windows, containers, optical components, and various utility items that require transparent or smooth material properties. In construction, Glass panels and windows add visual openness to player-built structures. In item crafting, Glass may appear as a component in lanterns, alchemical vessels, and other items where its transparency or smooth surface properties are functionally relevant.
Producing Glass requires access to Sand or appropriate Rock materials and a Furnace or Processing Station. Beach areas and desert biomes are the best sources of Sand for large-scale glass production. Because Glass is not consumed at the same rate as metal or wood materials, moderate stockpiling is usually sufficient. Players who engage heavily in construction or alchemy-related item crafting should maintain a ready supply of Glass to avoid interruptions during active crafting sessions.
