Rock
Rock
Rock is the most fundamental and universally available raw material in Everwind, gathered by mining stone surfaces, breaking boulders, and collecting loose stone found across all zones and biomes. It appears as grey, rough stone fragments of varying sizes and is encountered from the very first moments of the game throughout every altitude zone and environment. Nearly every area in Everwind contains Rock in some form, making it the ubiquitous baseline material of the game world.
Rock is used in construction as a foundational building material for walls, floors, and structural elements. It is also processed into Glass at the Furnace or Processing Station when combined with appropriate silica content. Beyond construction and processing, Rock appears in various crafting recipes as a raw material component for tools, weapons, and utility items at early crafting tiers. Its versatility across construction, processing, and raw crafting makes it one of the most broadly consumed materials in the game.
Because Rock is available everywhere, players rarely need to make dedicated gathering runs specifically for it. Mining rock surfaces during regular exploration, dungeon runs, and cave investigations will naturally accumulate large quantities. The key is not to discard Rock as worthless just because it is common: a large reserve enables uninterrupted construction projects and ensures Glass production is never bottlenecked by a shortage of raw material. Keep a dedicated Rock storage in your base and periodically replenish it from your natural mining activities.
