Harvesting Rotwood requires venturing into Rotten Island, which is dangerous and filled with environmental hazards.

Rotwood Log is processed into Rotwood Planks at the Carpenter Station or Processing Station. The unique properties of this decayed wood make Rotwood Planks suited for specific crafting recipes and structural applications that call for its distinct characteristics. While it may not be as universally applicable as Forestwood Planks, Rotwood Planks serve an important role in certain mid-game crafting paths that cannot be satisfied by other wood types.
