Tombmark Rite
Sword
Tombmark Rite is a Bone-tier sword in Everwind, crafted at the Smithing Station from Bone materials obtained through defeating skeleton and bone-type enemies. Its unsettling name reflects the sinister nature of its construction: a blade made from the bones of the dead, etched with markings suggesting ritual significance. As a Bone-tier weapon, it offers an alternative to standard metal sword progression for players who have accumulated bone crafting resources.
Advanced Weapons skill is required to equip Tombmark Rite, aligning it with the Copper and Bronze tier weapons in terms of player progression stage. Rune slots allow customization; the Poison rune fits thematically and practically, adding a venomous quality to the blade's strikes that complements its dark aesthetic. Doom rune is another strong choice for amplifying damage in extended dungeon encounters. Upgrade Station support to +10 is available.
Tombmark Rite is at home in undead-heavy dungeons and crypts where its bone origins and eerie name feel contextually appropriate. Players building a Bone-tier equipment set will want it alongside Marrow Fangs daggers and the Ivory Pounder bludgeon for a cohesive skeletal arsenal. It represents one of the most thematically distinct swords in the game, sitting between Bronze Sword and the Iron-tier Wardstreet Watch in terms of raw power.
