Spyglass

The Spyglass is a long-range optical tool that allows players to scout enemies, resources, and terrain features from a safe distance before committing to an approach. In Everwind's open island environments, the Spyglass is invaluable for identifying enemy faction patrols, locating dungeon entrances, spotting resource deposits on distant islands, and planning airship routes.

Players who favor ranged combat and stealth, combining bow skills with the Shadowcloak ability, will find the Spyglass a natural part of their toolkit, allowing them to identify high-value targets and plan ambush positions before entering combat range. Engineer-focused players who have unlocked the Life Detection skill can combine the Spyglass with that ability to identify hidden threats across a wide area.

Crafting the Spyglass requires glass components and metal frames, making it a mid-game item that rewards players who have progressed through the crafting station tree. Once obtained, the Spyglass remains relevant throughout the entire game, as Everwind's island-based world always presents new scouting opportunities in high-altitude zones where the terrain opens up into sweeping sky vistas.
