Frost Staff is a high-tier Magic Staff in Everwind, dealing 15 to 17 Ice damage per shot with a maximum of 50 charges before depletion. Crafted at the Smithing Station or Fabricator, it represents a significant step up from entry-level staves in both damage and elemental potency. The Ice damage type has unique utility beyond raw numbers: slowing or chilling effects on ice-susceptible enemies can alter the dynamics of difficult encounters.

With 50 charges, Frost Staff provides meaningful combat longevity compared to lower-tier staves, but resource management remains essential for extended expeditions. The Rune of the Arcanist, which increases Staff Charge Capacity by 20 percent, extends the effective charge count to 60, adding 10 additional shots per staff before depletion. This rune should be considered mandatory for players who rely on staves as their primary combat tool. Upgrade Station enhancement up to +10 is supported.

Frost Staff is most devastatingly effective against enemies with Fire affinity or those vulnerable to Ice damage, where its 15 to 17 damage per shot can shred through health pools rapidly. It pairs naturally with a multi-staff rotation alongside Venom Staff, Flames Staff, and Shock Staff, allowing players to always have the optimal elemental type available for the current encounter. The 50-charge count means Frost Staff can handle most encounters without running dry when managed carefully.
