Venom Staff is a high-tier Poison-element Magic Staff in Everwind, dealing 15 to 17 Poison damage per shot with 50 charges per staff. Crafted at the Smithing Station or Fabricator, it represents the upgraded version of the Poison Scepter, offering a dramatic damage increase and the full 50-charge endurance of the top-tier stave set. Poison damage applies damage-over-time stacking effects on susceptible enemies, adding value beyond the raw per-hit numbers.

The 50-charge limit means Venom Staff can handle extended engagements, but the Rune of the Arcanist remains the most important customization for any staff build, boosting effective charges to 60 per staff. This is particularly valuable for Venom Staff given that Poison damage-over-time effects mean each shot's value extends beyond the impact moment. The staff does not require traditional melee weapon skills, making it accessible to specialized caster builds. Upgrade Station enhancement is available.

Venom Staff is most effective against enemies without Poison resistance, particularly larger creatures and bosses with significant health pools where the sustained poison ticking maximizes total damage output. It fits naturally into a multi-staff elemental kit alongside Frost Staff, Flames Staff, and Shock Staff. Players who have access to the Rune of the Arcanist and a full set of 50-charge staves can rotate between elements adaptively, maintaining optimal type coverage throughout any dungeon or open-world encounter.
