Pyrite Twins

Pyrite Twins are a Pyrite-tier dagger weapon in Everwind, dual blades crafted from fool's gold-infused metal at the Smithing Station. Despite the name invoking pyrite's association with deception, these blades deliver genuine lethality with higher base damage than Copper Spikes and refined handling characteristics. They require the Advanced Weapons skill to equip and offer increased endurance over their copper predecessor.

Within the dagger family, Pyrite Twins push the critical hit playstyle to a new ceiling in the pre-Bronze tier. Two rune slots allow creative customization; the Doom rune pairs particularly well given the high crit rate, while Rune of Strength adds consistent flat damage bonuses. Upgrading to +10 at the Upgrade Station makes Pyrite Twins a formidable choice for players who have not yet reached Bronze-tier crafting.

Pyrite Twins are effective in dungeon environments and against mid-tier enemies with moderate armor. Their fool's gold aesthetic gives them a distinct visual identity within the dagger progression.
