Wooden Long Axe is the Wood-tier long axe in Everwind, a two-handed chopping weapon fashioned from wood with a broad axe head and long handle designed for wide cleaving strikes. Crafted at the Crafting Station or via Pocket Crafting, it is one of the earliest two-handed options available and introduces the long axe category's defining trait: horizontal sweeping attacks capable of hitting multiple enemies in a single swing arc.

No skill requirement is needed to equip the Wooden Long Axe, making it freely accessible from the start of the game. One rune slot allows a single permanent enhancement; the Acceleration rune can help compensate for the slow recovery time between cleaving swings. Endurance is limited by its wooden construction, and upgrading to +10 at the Upgrade Station provides modest gains during the brief Wood-tier phase.

Wooden Long Axe's cleave potential shines in early encounters against groups of smaller enemies where the wide swing arc can connect with multiple targets simultaneously. This multi-target advantage distinguishes long axes from long hammers and long swords, which focus on single powerful blows. Players who favor crowd control through cleave will progress from Wooden Long Axe through Stone Two-Handed Axe and on to the ScrapSteamer and Bronze tiers.
