Everwind Weapons Guide: Best Weapons by Category
Date Published

Choosing the right weapon in Everwind is one of the most important decisions you'll make. Each weapon type interacts differently with the Warrior skill tree, and the combination of your weapon, armor, and skills determines how effectively you can take on the various enemy factions. This guide breaks down every weapon category and highlights the best options at each tier.
Melee Weapons
Melee weapons in Everwind are divided into one-handed swords, two-handed swords, axes, and spears. One-handed weapons pair with shields for balanced offense-defense gameplay, while two-handed options deal more damage but leave you vulnerable. The Warrior skill tree's Parry Master and Defense Stance skills work best with one-handed melee weapons, while Crushing Blow and Blood Thirsty synergize with heavy two-handed options.
Bows and Ranged Weapons
Bows are the primary ranged option and scale strongly with the Warrior tree's Advanced Bows, Multi-Arrow, and Master Bows skills. Higher-tier bows made from Steel and Spiritwood Planks deal significantly more damage and have better range than the starting wooden bows. Pair bow-focused builds with Wooden Arrows in bulk for sustained ranged engagements, and save Steel Arrows for boss fights.
Arcanist Weapons: Rods and Books
Arcanist players wield magic rods and spell books as their primary weapons. Rods deal direct elemental damage, while books provide access to powerful area spells. The Arcanist skill tree's Rod Specialist, Advanced Rods, and Master Rods skills dramatically increase rod effectiveness, while Book-focused skills unlock higher-tier spells. Elemental mastery skills such as Fire Mastery, Ice Mastery, and Lightning Mastery further enhance rod damage of the corresponding element.
Weapon Upgrade Priority
Upgrading your weapons at the Upgrade Station should be one of your highest priorities. Even a one-tier upgrade significantly increases your damage output and makes the transition from Starting Meadows to Russet Forest or Jungle much smoother. Always match your weapon upgrade to your skill tree investments: upgrading a bow is wasted investment if your skill tree is entirely melee-focused.
