Armor
Practical Outfit
Chest
Practical Outfit is a Cloth-tier chest armor with 4 DEF and values in the 60-75 Endurance range, sharing the same defense tier as Modest Outfit but offering slightly better durability in some variants. The name reflects an outfit designed for survival tasks rather than aesthetics, and the bump in Endurance from the 3 DEF starting pieces is genuinely welcome in the early zones. No skill requirement gates this piece.
Found in loot caches and on early-zone traders, Practical Outfit cannot be made at a Smithing Station and has no dedicated crafting recipe. It sits between the absolute starting gear and the first true material-tier armors like the Wooden Chestplate (5 DEF). When comparing Cloth chest pieces in this range, Everyday Attire at 75 Endurance is the highest-durability Cloth option before the Wood tier.
Practical Outfit suits any build during the transitional phase between spawn and first crafted armor. Builds targeting the Backstab playstyle should treat this as a bridge toward Leather Chestplate, since leather opens the door to more durable mid-game progression. The chest slot is one of the highest-value armor slots in Everwind, so even a small DEF gain here is meaningful.
