Ancient Pipe
Sword
Ancient Pipe is a Unique-tier sword in Everwind, though calling it a sword is generous. This rusted length of plumbing pipe deals only 3 to 3 damage, making it the lowest-damage weapon in the entire game by a considerable margin. Its Unique-tier classification is entirely ironic, a deliberate joke weapon that grants it the visual and categorical prestige of endgame drops while delivering the combat effectiveness of a limp handshake. It is likely found or looted rather than crafted through normal progression.
Despite its Unique tier designation, the Ancient Pipe requires no special skill to equip and its extreme novelty makes it near-useless in actual combat outside of role-play scenarios. It does occupy rune slots like other weapons, meaning a dedicated player could technically socket runes into it, though no amount of Life Steal or Rune of Strength will make 3-3 damage feel threatening. Upgrading it to +10 at the Upgrade Station is technically possible, which brings it to slightly less embarrassing numbers.
The Ancient Pipe is a beloved piece of Everwind's design philosophy: a world where even a piece of old plumbing gets classified as a Unique weapon. It is best reserved for challenge runs, lore screenshots, or trolling party members in multiplayer scenarios. Players seeking actual sword combat should immediately pursue Split Plank Edge or Rock Blade as their first practical one-handed cutting weapon in the standard progression chain.
