Rock Blade

Rock Blade is the Stone-tier sword in Everwind, a knapped or ground stone blade mounted on a wooden handle to form a serviceable one-handed cutting weapon. Crafted at the Crafting Station using stone materials, it improves on Split Plank Edge with higher damage output and better durability. The rock edge provides a sharper cutting profile than wood, translating into improved performance against early-game enemies.

The Rock Blade requires no skill unlock, keeping it freely available in the Stone-tier phase of progression. One rune slot allows early specialization; Acceleration can be useful for pushing the sword's attack speed slightly ahead of its base value. Upgrading to +10 at the Upgrade Station makes it a viable weapon during the crafting grind toward copper materials and the Advanced Weapons skill needed for the next tier.

Rock Blade performs solidly in early biomes such as forests and caves where Stone-tier enemies are the primary threat. Its sword classification gives it a slight reach advantage over daggers and a speed advantage over bludgeons at the same tier. Players who enjoy the sword category will progress from Rock Blade to Copper Blade, with the Fool's Gold Blade and Bronze Sword waiting further along the material-tier chain.
