Pipe

Pipes are the connective infrastructure of the Everwind airship system, linking all major components together into a unified operational network that allows them to share power, control signals, and functional outputs. Without properly connected Pipe runs between the Cockpit, Engine, Energy Generator, Heating Unit, Cooling Fan, and Airship Core, the airship's systems cannot communicate and the vessel will not function as intended. Pipes are one of the most frequently crafted airship items due to the sheer number of connections a fully equipped vessel requires.

Pipe crafting uses the Reinforced Pipes mechanism part alongside processed materials from the Processing Station, ensuring that the connections they form are robust enough for the mechanical and thermal stresses of powered flight. Their role as the connective tissue of the airship means that Pipe placement must be planned in concert with overall Hull Block layout, since routing Pipes efficiently through the vessel's interior minimizes wasted materials and reduces the number of potential failure points. Some component combinations require specific Pipe configurations to operate, making knowledge of connection requirements an important part of advanced airship design.

Always build a stockpile of Pipes before beginning a major airship construction or upgrade session, since mid-project Pipe shortages can halt progress at critical junctures. Map out your connection plan before placing components in the Hull Block frame, routing Pipe runs along the most direct paths between linked systems. When diagnosing airship malfunctions after combat damage or zone-transition stress, inspect Pipe connections first since they represent the most numerous and thus the most statistically likely point of failure in any complex airship system.
