Stone Long Blade

Stone Long Blade is the Stone-tier long sword in Everwind, a two-handed weapon with a ground or knapped stone blade mounted on an elongated wooden shaft. Crafted at the Crafting Station using stone resources, it improves over Plank Blade with better damage and durability, introducing survivors to serious two-handed combat capability in the early progression. Its length gives it the characteristic reach advantage of the long sword category.

Stone Long Blade requires no skill unlock, keeping it accessible to all players in the Stone-tier crafting phase. One rune slot provides a single customization opportunity; Acceleration can help offset the slower swing speed inherent to two-handed weapons. Upgrading to +10 at the Upgrade Station gives it relevance during the grind toward copper materials and the Advanced Weapons skill that unlocks the next tier of long swords.

Stone Long Blade excels against enemies that can be kited with its reach, preventing them from getting inside the weapon's optimal strike range. It competes directly with Stone-tier weapons across all categories, offering more damage per swing than one-handed options at the cost of reduced attack rate.
