Wraith Knight

The Wraith Knight is a spectral warrior summoned during the Wraith Lord boss encounter on the Rotten Island at altitudes above 900 meters. These are the lingering shades of soldiers who fell in service to the Wraith Lord, their identities long since consumed by spectral energy and reformatted into eternal guardians. They manifest as semi-transparent armored figures that strike with ghostly blades capable of phasing through light defenses.
Wraith Knights are add-phase enemies that spawn in waves during the Wraith Lord fight, applying relentless pressure while the Wraith Lord itself continues its own assault. They are fast, hit with meaningful damage, and their spectral nature may cause standard physical resistance to be less effective against them than it would be against mortal enemies. Prioritizing Wraith Knights when they spawn is generally advisable, as allowing them to accumulate turns the arena into a chaotic multi-target nightmare.
Wraith Knights do not appear outside of the Wraith Lord boss encounter, making them exclusive to that fight's add phases. Like the Skeleton King Elite Guard in the Skeleton King encounter, they exist to pressure players during a critical boss engagement rather than as standalone threats. Players who have learned effective crowd control and AoE damage techniques through earlier Mortivar dungeon encounters will have the best tools for managing Wraith Knight waves while maintaining pressure on the Wraith Lord itself.
