Everwind Loot Guide: Where to Find the Best Items
Date Published

Knowing where to find the best items in Everwind dramatically accelerates your progression. Loot is distributed across the game's biomes, dungeons, enemy drops, merchant inventories, and locked chest networks. This guide maps out the best sources for each category of valuable item.
Best Ore Sources by Biome
- Copper: Starting Meadows and Jungle lower sections - abundant, good for early smelting
- Tin: Jungle biome - needed for Bronze Ingots alongside Copper
- Iron: Russet Forest - primary iron source for Steel Ingot production
- Coal: Russet Forest and underground cave systems - needed for Steel alongside Iron
- Rare minerals: Desert and Rotten Island - high-tier crafting materials
Best Dungeon Loot
Each dungeon has a specific loot pool biased toward its faction and biome. The Forest Dungeon and Grimverd Stone Pyramid are the best early sources of non-craftable equipment. The Underground Cities dungeon has the most diverse loot pool in the game, including items exclusive to its hidden merchant chambers. The Rotten Island Dungeon drops the best equipment in the game but requires full late-game preparation.
Enemy Drop Priorities
Mortivar Generals and Executioners drop the most valuable skull trophies, which convert directly to coin at any merchant. Steamer faction enemies drop mechanical components useful for advanced crafting. Wildlife enemies like wolves and bears drop Fur for armor crafting. Prioritizing high-value enemies during biome exploration rather than fighting everything maximizes your loot efficiency.
Merchant Exclusive Items
Some items are only available from Merchants and cannot be crafted or farmed. Expert and potentially Master-tier keys are often merchant purchases rather than crafting outputs. Certain rare food ingredients that don't spawn in the wild must be bought. Check the Merchant NPC inventory every time you pass through a settlement, as restocked items rotate and timing matters.
