Everwind Biomes Guide: All 6 Zones Explained
Date Published

Everwind's world is divided into six distinct biomes spread across three altitude zones, each with unique enemies, resources, environmental hazards, and dungeon types. This guide gives you everything you need to navigate each biome effectively and know what to expect before you land.
Zone 1 Biomes (0-400m)
Starting Meadows
The Starting Meadows is where every Everwind player begins their journey. This low-danger biome features gentle terrain, abundant wood and stone resources, and introductory Mortivar enemies. It is the ideal location to build your first base and establish your crafting station setup. Key resources here include common herbs, stone, copper ore, and wildlife drops like Fur and Honey.
Jungle
The Jungle biome extends from Zone 1 into Zone 2, featuring dense vegetation, stone pyramid structures left by the Grimverd civilization, and Steamer mechanical enemies patrolling the pyramid interiors. Tin ore is abundant here, making it essential for Bronze Ingot production. Watch out for the warm, humid environmental hazard that can reduce stamina recovery during extended stays.
Zone 2 Biomes (400-900m)
Russet Forest
The Russet Forest is a mid-altitude biome characterized by dead, rust-colored trees and heavy Mortivar and Steamer faction presence. Iron ore becomes available here, enabling Steel Ingot production. The Steamer faction maintains a fortress-like presence in this biome, and players will need solid armor and combat skills to clear their encampments. Environmental hazards here include reduced visibility in foggy sections.
Swamp and Cemetery
The Swamp and Cemetery is the most environmentally hostile Zone 2 biome, filled with poisonous gas, murky water, and ancient burial grounds where Skeleton enemies are most concentrated. Players need poison resistance preparations before entering. The dungeon in this biome is particularly challenging and rewards great loot for those who can navigate the toxic terrain.
Zone 3 Biomes (900-1800m)
Desert
The Desert biome exists in the high-altitude islands above the cloud layer, characterized by extreme temperature variations, sand dunes, and dangerous Wildlife creatures including Sand Crawlers and the fearsome Massive Golem Boss. Resources here include rare desert minerals and unique herbs not found in lower zones. Players need advanced armor and combat skills before venturing here.
Rotten Island
The Rotten Island is the most dangerous biome in the game, featuring heavily corrupted terrain, elite enemy variants, and the toughest dungeon challenges. Only players with fully upgraded equipment and advanced skill tree investments should attempt the Rotten Island. The rewards, however, include some of the rarest materials and equipment in Everwind.
